the process
Week 1 – Live Brand Workshop
Once your project deposit is made, the timeline kicks off with a casual and fun 90-minute Live Brand Workshop via Zoom, where you’ll do a lot of the talking, and I’ll do a lot of listening. We’ll chat about your brand, your audience, your competition, and your goals and dreams – all with the goal of landing on a solid creative direction for your brand. It’s all about you!
Weeks 2-4* — Design

Sit back and relax! Based on the findings and creative direction established in our Brand Workshop, I’ll build an effective and memorable brand that will help strategically position you to capture the hearts of your target audience. I consider how each part works together, including logos, color palette, typography, layouts, and much more, based on your selected brand package.
Week 5-6 — Feedback / Revisions / Finals
Hopefully you fall in love with your brand right away (always my goal!), but if revisions are required, I’ll make the necessary adjustments send an updated look at your brand. A minimum of two rounds of revisions are included in each brand package.
Once everything is approved, I’ll package up the final files—every version of your logo and graphics in all the file types you’ll need; your color palette with codes; where to purchase or download your type palette; any extras like patterns or illustrations; and your Brand Guide.
Once you’ve paid the final invoice, everything is yours forever – and you can live Happily Ever After with your beautiful new brand! Or, we can continue to collaborate on more exciting projects to help you win big.
Week 4 — Brand Presentation
You’ve waited patiently – and now it’s time for Brand Magic! I’ll pre-record a complete brand presentation, including all your shiny new designs, rationale, and real-world applications so you can see how everything comes together, that you can watch on your own time. I’ll also send over the presentation PDF so you can peruse and let everything sink in.

This hour is all about you and your brand, and I’m your personal Creative Director. Outside perspective from an industry vet is key.
We’ll work together over a live Zoom call, and talk it out, or live workshop some designs (yours to keep at the end of our call). Bring your big questions and brand concerns and we’ll work together toward a solution for continuing brand success.

A new brand identity usually takes about 4-8 weeks from the Virtual Brand Workshop, but it can vary depending on scope, schedules, feedback, etc. I may send a few emails back and forth as I work, to get additional thoughts from you, or that might not be necessary. If you don’t hear from me for a few weeks, don’t worry—it means I’m working hard on your brand.

I accept credit card and ACH payments.
Projects are typically billed 50% up front (a non-refundable deposit that secures your spot on my calendar), and 50% upon project completion, before final files are released.
I also create custom payment plans - just ask!

Yes! Upon project completion and full payment, you will have full ownership and copyright of your logo and brand marks. You can use them for your intended purposes without restrictions.

Every brand package includes at least 2 rounds of revisions, and additional rounds can be purchased at an hourly rate. This approach helps keep feedback clear and concise, which saves everyone time and energy all around.

Yes – current schedule allowing. It depends on your exact timeline, so reach out and tell me about your project and desired turnaround time. An additional rush fee of 25% will typically apply.

Depending on the selected brand package, you’ll receive your entire logo suite in high-res formats useful for both print and web: .eps, PDF, jpeg and png. You’ll also receive color codes for print and web, font styling suggestions along with where to license your fonts, and a PDF brand guide.

The sooner you give your stamp of approval, the sooner I can send final files (yay!). I do my best to operate on a one-week turnaround for finals once a brand is approved and the remaining project balance is paid.

When you receive your final logo files, the ownership and copyright transfer to you. I recommended keeping a backup of your files in a safe place, as I do not store the files for you. You can start implementing your logo immediately across your website, social media, marketing materials; anywhere you want to showcase your brand!
We can also continue to collab on a brand rollout or with ongoing brand projects.
